Self-esteem – Carol Craig

Carol Craig is the Chief Executive of Scotland’s Centre for Confidence and Well-being.   In this video Carol talks about why focussing too much on the self-esteem of children and young people can sometimes get in the way of learning.   She also explains why experiencing failure and developing perseverance are important elements of Curriculum for Excellence.
